How Our Tree and Shrub Planting Process Works
We’ve planted thousands of trees, hedges, bushes, and flowers throughout Union County for our commercial and residential clients over the years. It’s the initial species selection and the care and meticulous prep work we do that contributes to the beautiful results we’re able to achieve with our clients landscapes.
- We start with our initial consultation.
- We will listen to your requirements, making any necessary suggestions.
- We will work with you to determine the best species for your specific landscape vision and goals.
- We can discuss irrigation options with you if you don’t have any irrigation in place.
- We show up on the scheduled days get all of your new plantings in the ground as promised.
- The end result is a beautiful looking property.
How Much Do New Plantings Cost?
The final cost of your new plantings will be determined by the species you’ve chosen, how many of them, and what size they are. We’ll also need to consider the site they’ll be planted on and how much labor will be required to prep the site, move the plantings to the location, and lastly, get them planted.
We’ll only be able to provide you with an accurate estimate for planting and maintaining your trees and shrubs after a thorough site inspection.

We had a fantastic experience working with Haughey Brothers Landscaping to redo our fence, retaining wall, patio, and sod. Going into it, we weren’t sure how to navigate the different needs of our yard, but they walked us through every option, broke the project into clear phases, and provided detailed estimates for each, working with us to stay within budget. Initially, we expected the work to start much later, possibly not until August. Just two weeks after our first conversation, everything was done! The fence is flawless, the retaining wall is solid and clean, and the new grass looks incredible. They stayed in touch every step of the way, sticking to both timelines and costs. At one point, a miscommunication led to part of our yard being cleared of grass while we weren’t home. We were surprised to come back and see it, but the team responded right away with a thoughtful solution and made sure everything was restored quickly and seamlessly. That kind of responsiveness and care really stood out. We just hosted our first backyard BBQ this past weekend, and for the first time, we’re truly able to enjoy our outdoor space.
